Hey! So Glad You're Here.

I have always had two passions in life; music and the written word (Three, if we count Keanu Reeves.) As I have been hugely fortunate to work as a singer for over 15 years, I thought it time I created a place for people to view my work, as opposed to having it dotted throughout such diverse publications as ’The People On Sunday’ and The British Medical Journal. Let’s make this procrastination count! Oh. And the BA in Eng Lit I was awarded a 2:1 for in 2005. Let’s make that count too.

As a singer, I have sung in many major venues in the UK including the Royal Festival Hall, The Royal Albert Hall and The Cardiff Millennium Centre, as a soprano in The London Philharmonic Choir. I also work as a session singer, most notably as part of a backing group for the Mercury Music prize winning album ‘The Seldom Seen Kid‘ by legendary British band Elbow, recorded at the world renowned Abbey Road Studios with the BBC Concert Orchestra and most recently for Phil Manzanera and Andy McKay of Roxy Music. Jazz remains my enduring love and with my unique brand of crystalline, sweet, sultry and emotive versions of standards and modern pop with a wry jazz twist, I bring my passion to regular performances at private events at many London institutions including The Palladium, The Pheasantry, The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, The Painted Hall at The Royal Naval College, St Martin In The Fields, Inner Temple to name a few. I made my operatic debut in 2013 in Vladimir Jurowski’s production of ‘The Threepenny Opera‘ with The London Philharmonic Orchestra at The Royal Festival Hall. I also write and record music for film, advertisements and television.
