Listen. I completely agree that power is an aphrodisiac. And yet I’ve never wanted to be ravaged by Darth Vader. Never watched ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ and dreamt of being passionately taken by the ‘child catcher’. Never watched ‘I.T’ and thought; ‘God! If only I could get my hands on that sexy clown!’ Even if Lord Sauron or Voldemort or Hitler or Hans Gruber offered me career advancement, social advantages and untold riches.... I still wouldn’t want to sleep with them.
Joking about fictitious and imagined malevolence aside, power *is* sexy; it’s true. I'd argue that evil, however, is not. So, what constitutes evil? I’d say selfishness and a wholly malicious desire to harm others for your own benefit, coupled seemingly all too often with a complete disregard for the consequences of your own actions. Evil is fucking repellent. Evil is grotesque. I understand people are complex. Shades of grey abound. But if someone is so obviously reprehensible.... how could you truly desire them? or even affect a romantic affiliation towards them? I’m afraid I don’t understand. So if you’re the sort of person who fucks power whilst disregarding evil? Know i’m judging you. Very harshly.
It’s funny that two women have fucked Hancock and multiple women fucked Johnson. Or that someone shags Rees Mogg. It’s funny, until you really think about it. Then it’s totally nauseating.
